Oplatki (Christmas Wafers) will be available in the back of church beginning November 28-29. The donation is $1 for four wafers.
Fingerprints Daycare is conveniently located within a few blocks of the new Children’s Hospital. The daycare is located inside of the St. John Neumann School Building, 43rd Street Entrance, Pittsburgh PA, 15201 (map).
At Fingerprints Early Care and Education Center, we believe that there is no better environment for a child than that of their home and family. All of the love, safety, and comfort that can be found in your own living room, you will also find within our walls. Our highly qualified teachers treat every child as if they were their own, and gently guide them to learn about the world around them.
Children have a wonderful sense of curiosity that leads to unimaginable learning. Our teachers and caring professionals understand this curiosity and design activities to capture each child’s specific interests. When the children are engaged in these activities, they are learning social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Our program ensures that every child is given the opportunity to question, explore, discover, and learn at their own pace without the fear of failure. By learning this way, the children are able to develop positive self-concepts and a love of learning that will lead to future successes.
The State of Pennsylvania Department for Child Services conducted its annual evaluation/inspection of Fingerprints, OLA’s Day Care and found that we were in compliance with all State requirements for Day Care programs. Fingerprints Day Care is for infants to school age children. Registration for any of these levels of care is open all year round. Interested?

Our Programs
We provide care for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 5 years.
A healthy breakfast, lunch and also a healthy snack are provided for ages 2 and up.
The curriculum for each group is taught in weekly themes by highly trained teachers.
We use the Creative Curriculum as the basis for our teaching. This curriculum incorporates play as the main instrument of learning. Through weekly themes that teach about the world that we live in, children learn all of the skills that are necessary to be successful in school and in life.
